Execute javascript code from a mod_custom module

  • Execute javascript code from a mod_custom module

    • Hi,
I'm working with a new template and need to execute some javascript code when a module is showed.
Is there possible to do that ?
Is there a way to put the javascript code directly in the module content?
The code would be executed when the page is loaded.

      Regards.

    • JEM, thanks for your quick relpy. :D
jumi seems to be a good extension for my needs.

But i would want to understand better joomla and i'd like a lot if you give me an example of personalized mod_custom, in wich some code (php/javascript) can be execuded.

If this is not possible to do, then i go to use jumi.
      Regards.

    • Sorry, I don't have an example, but MANY members have used this extension to do what you want to do and have reported great success.

At this point, all I can tell you is to experiment on your localhost or dev site.
    • Thanks,
      jim
