weird screenshot appearing on page from nowhere

    • Greetings! I have just created a new contact page using a chronoform in the user1 module and some additional info in the user 3 module, and it all looks great until you scroll down. For some bizarre reason that I can't figure out, a screenshot of the homepage is displaying below the correct modules. What causes this, and how do I fix it?

    • That's not a screen shot, for some reason your home page is being loaded to the position, click on the links, they work!

Could be a redirect from a bad URL with SEF turned on.

Turn off SEF and see if the problem persists.

And be sure you have SEF configured properly.

      Basic Core SEF:

If joomla is in the root; htdocs, or public_html...

In Global Configurations, Search Engine Friendly URLs Yes, Use Apache mod_rewrite Yes, Add suffix to URLs No.

      Change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.

If it’s in a folder, you need to change the # RewriteBase / to reflect the path of your site.

      Change:

      # RewriteBase /

      to:

RewriteBase /(the name of the folder joomla is in)

If that doesn't work, search or post here:

      forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=544

If you are using a 3rd part component, contact the developer.
    • Thanks,

    • That didn't work, but I am using a non-rockettheme extension, so I'll see if they can help before I post in the other forum. Thanks!
