splitmenu and suckerfish

    • Hi there.

When suckerfish is activated then each submenu item appears underneath the main item below the horiz-menu but only for the amount of time that you hover over the main item.

When split menu is activated the sub menu items appear only after the main menu item was clicked but in a horizontal menu just below the main bar and they stay there, until another item is clicked.

Is it possible to imitate the suckerfish menu's behaviour in the split menu to let the submenu items appear in the horizontal bar below the main items for as long as the mouse hovers?

In other words have the submenu items appear horizontally like in the suckerfish menu thus OVERLAYING the items of the splitmenu that are already there?

Hope I havent confused everyone ...
Hopefully somebody has already thought of this!

    • I need this too.
Not exactly like you explained, but I need Split menu's submenu items to be ALWAYS visible.

Is it possible to make Split menu always show submenu items?

There's a mainmenu module with 'always show submenu items' option, but in RocketTheme templates the choice is done from the admin panel... and there's no such option to always show submenu items.

    • jobst, and stamster,

You're best off posting in the forum specific for your template rather than The Water Cooler.
