Having to update phpbb3 can be such a pain in the a$$! I really enjoy using phpbb3 along with a great rockettheme style, but dang, having to update it from 3.0.4 to the latest, when you have mods all over the place, is such a drag.
I only wish phpbb3 had a plugin system, one day maybe

- I have updated too, with 5 mods installed, didn't have a problem at all, the update system recognized all the mods I had installed.

- It is not as bad as what it used to be like on phpnuke and phpbb2. Sometimes it took a whole weekend with the amount of mods installed, when updates were released.

I wish it took me 10 minutes.
In all honestly, the process is hard. But I have the phpbb-seo mod installed, which required having to change so many files, then after doing the merge, going back through, making adjustments, etc.
Oh well, got it up to 3.0.5. Happy as can be

- With that mod it is logical, it touches almost every file and then some. I am using rokbridge, so that SEO mod is too much of a hassle for me to implement.
