I've looked through the Extensions section of
www.joomla.org
and was not able to find anything.
QUESTION: Is there any Joomla component for Project Tracking / Management? Any recommendations?

I can't say that I checked it out, but there is Hydra Project Manager:
extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...k_id,1389/Itemid,35/
Can't make recommendations, but it is highly rated.

Thanks, Billy. I'm trying a few options. I'll add that one. Thanks! There seems to be only one Joomla component that has been brought to my attention, but there seems to be a few stand-alones in the PHP world. Since the users only need to login in the Project Mgt app, it does need to 'bridge' with Joomla a stand-alone will work - but I definitely want an RT template top wrap it in.

check out the juicy media site. it was a rockettheme site of the month. their login form is integrated with netoffice. (find out by clicking the login button) - Billy Zoellers

I've used vtiger and suger crm, which are ok. I'm guessing you know about them but thought saying something is better than nothing. I found suger crm to be the better of the two in regard to rebranding even with the free version though rebranding after each update got a bit tiresome!
I also recall one you could make up from scratch but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called! - Don't think, Feeeeel... It is like a finger pointing to the moon. (slap) Don't concentrate on the finger or you'll miss all that heavenly glory.

Sounds like you want/need this to be Joomla-integrated, but if that's not necessarily a requirement, I've been very happy with Basecamp

I tried the limited trial of Hydra. I will try Basecamp and TaskHopper too. What the heck, I've not pulled the trigger on anything yet.
