Restricted Access to the Admin Area

Posted 15 years 10 months ago
    • Hello,
I was wondering if I could create a user which has limited access to certain Modules and features in the back end of a joomla installation?
or is their some way of doing this via the RT template front end?

Basically, I need to create a user which has access only to modify Content, Page Titles, and Keyword information on these pages. - Essentially I need some sort of on-line SEO management system without giving the user full access to the backend.

      is this doable?
      regards

    • Hello,

It is not possible to control from the template because the template only for the site "face" or "layout". You may need an extensions(component) for it, but I am not sure whether there's such a component like that. You may need to check this in the Joomla Extensions Directory or Joomla forum.

thanks. I've had a look at some extensions but can't seem to find one which would offer SEO management from the front end. - i'll keep looking.

      thanks again
