Nothing official, but if there's a security problem and you are updated to the latest release of Joomla, it's probably not a Joomla issue, but a problem with a 3rd party component. - Thanks,

Nothing official, but if there's a security problem and you are updated to the latest release of Joomla, it's probably not a Joomla issue, but a problem with a 3rd party component.
Remember PHPBB3 disaster? It was not PHPBB issue...

and the phpBB3 issue was still a phpBB3 issue, just not a "core" issue. That's the tough thing with these "modular" systems...extensions can open up what was a previously closed security issue.

Check out this.
Im like a few others very concerned at company that sells components eg "defender" and requests good money for them still gets hacked. Overall I have not been impressed by them over the past week, this just hammers another nail in. - Black & White must be making a come back

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't JoomSuite use ion-cube and have some files encoded? If that's the case, it's easy for someone to get very frustrated if support tickets aren't answered. You pay for the product, then can't even fix it yourself.
On the other hand, this isn't a very ethical way to handle the issue from a customer perspective, but it shows that it can happen.
