Hey, my customer is looking for something that will allow him to post urgent updates to the website and users will automatically be notified on their phones with the update. I've researched the whole SMS notification thing, but he's not ready to dive that far in financially. I'm wondering if anyone has any other ideas.
I would like to learn more about RSS feeds, since I've generally avoided them so far (no one asked). I have no idea how to make my content available for RSS in the first place, and I'm unsure about how a user receives the RSS feeds.
What about some kind of newsletter sign up? I saw something on a site where users could sign up to receive the newsletter. I'm assuming that's some kind of component. Can someone recommend a good one?
