    Anyone Worked with AEC Membership Extenstion?

    • Has anyone here built a paid membership site using the AEC plugin by Vallanx?

      Or used the JACL extensions (for multiple membership levels in Joomla)?

      Good Experiences?
      Recommendations?

      Anything coming from RT that might be useful for managing paid subscriptions? (ie" RokMember?)

      AEC or JALC seem to be the best choices at this point.

      Haven't used either, but I'd suggest installing both on dev sites to see which works best for you.

      Hopefully somebody with experience will post back with comments...

    • I have used this extension to cash some suscriptions with 2checkout. Is a very complete solution, but you need to have a deep understanding on how it works and be in very close contact with support. Please do not consider using this if you are not going to purchase the support plan in valanx. This guy, the develloper, he is working 24/7 on this.

      I sopped using it by now but will reinstall it in a near future. If you are or count with an expert i recomend you this extensions.

      Another thing i recomend you is to READ all instructions. Did i told you to purchase the support plan?. I mean, some of the microintegration stuff can be tricky. Good billing to your site! :D

    • Another thing to consider: Uninstalling this extension can be tricky, if you have Community Builder, things can go wrong. Try it before on a local site.

    • I use this EXTENSIVELY with Terran Tribune, and CB. WORKS FRIGGIN great! I have used it for over a year now without incident.

      The guy who helps me is Jake at www.websgold.com All he does ALL DAY LONG is AEC support.

      Pay for the support and he will tweak your AEC into a well oiled machine!

      Tell Him Eric sent you...! :-)

      Sorry to plug AEC in this forum..but just know AEC works great with RT templates!
