I'm trying to add a "watermark" image to each page of an Affinity website I'm trying to design...basically instead of a plain white background, it'll be white with a watermark of the logo showing. I asked on the Affinity board and Mike came up with a solution which I applied as:-
watermark.png being a transparent image of the logo and I'm using style6 of the template.
However, when I preview the site, the watermark does not show but something has been applied as only the 4 white corners are showing and the backgroud color is no longer white.
Can somebody tell me what "none repeat scroll 0 0" means so I can try and find out why the image is not showing? Is it to do with which layer the watermark is on?
I looked on the Joomla help pages but didn't really get very far! All I need is a bit (ok...a lot!) of guidance to point me in the right direction because I feel like I'm going around in circles.
Please excuse the newie question and for crossing over boards!
Mike gave me an answer - but I cannot use it because I do not fully understand the variables used to know how to implement what has been suggested. I'm asking a general question now and not directed specifically to the Affinity template.
As it is, there is a difference between what FF3.5 shows and what IE7/8 does so I think there is an underlying problem somewhere...so I do not know where to look. Hence, I'm asking a general question which is why I'm not posting this in the Affinity board.
So any chance you can put this back from where you moved it from??
