phoca gallery error

Sorry for bothering you, but I didn't know who to ask.
I have a free jomla template that I am using for a friend's website. I installed Phoca Gallery and I have some errors. If you have time, could you please check what is going wrong? I used Phoca Gallery in the past, but for websites hosted on our server and they worked, this time I had to work with the hosting my friend provided.
Maybe somebody has time to check in the admin what's going wrong.
I get some java errors and these too

1. Is your friends host using PHP5?
2. Are the folder permissions set to 755 or 757 and the files set to 644 or 646? - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

- I like Phoca because it generates the thumbnails and I worked with it before and it was ok, i don't know why i'm having troubles now.

- The error goes away when i disabled SEF so either you keep it disabled or configure it correctly. JEM wrote a post about configuring SEF...

I have no ides what curl is... if the hosting provider enabled it or not, not a hint
