    New version of Chrome

    • Just noticed my chrome browser has just been updated to v3 with some nifty little debugger tool, Shame the tgz file problem is still there

    • Well at least that is a step forward; wonder what the market share is now with all their marketing and bringing prices down, would have to be making some inroads into the consumer market.

    • I know a far few people who use it so I imagine it'll gain a good share in the coming months / years as long as they fix their nasty bugs :) I'd like Chrome to replace Opera on the planet as the Other Other browser :)

    • @ Brian, you reckon hmmmm - I reckon it would have to be higher than that just by the amount of people I know that now have mac's that used to have PC's ... I might see what I can find out there.

      Well there ya go, you are pretty spot on the money Brian, and growing at just over 2% per year...

    • Its hard to get good data, as most of it is generally America only, would be interesting to see how their market share was broken down based on America, Europe, Asia etc...

      I imagine its not that high either as it really depends where you go... go to a college and you'll see a fair few, but in general, not so much. Its in the music and phone market that they truly dominate :)

      But unless they produce cheaper laptops, I doubt you'll see a major gain in the market, as laptops are the top products, by volume now.
