Checking the template forums?

remus, you got me thinking.
I admit it. I'm guilty of hanging out in the Water Cooler or the General Discussion section, but seldom do I take a peep into the individual Template forums.
However, there are a good number of new folks that need our (seasoned members) advice. I know I'm here for free and am limited in my time - plus I'm not as much of a coder as many, but I am committing to check the Template forums first before I look at the threads in the 'fun forums'. I'll use the 'Mark as Read' button and check for new Template forum posts.

Thanks, GollumX. I dabble in the media quite bit. I work at Verizon Online (the internet div. of Verizon), but they are moving their SoCal offices (and my studios) back to VA. They want me to move and are willing to pay, but an ad agency has opened up to me recently. Plus, I have family here and the weather is nicer. I was on the phone the other day with the boss-lady in VA. It was 78 degrees here and 27 degrees and snowing there. Still deciding what I need to do.

Yeah, today I told my boss-lady in VA that I was staying in SD. I did have an interview with an interactive ad agency. They do a lot of stuff that I'd like to learn about. I would interface with the client and the creative team in building the creative for Internet ads - those things that I try to avoid. I have been called back for a second interview.

re: checking template forums... I am one of those people who posted a question on a template forum a little bit ago without response (actually no reads either). If any of you have a moment, I'd be most grateful for your help. I've spent a bit of time on the question and just can't figure it out, but I don't think it can really be too complicated... Hmm... Probably a good idea to actually contribute to some of the template forums.
I'm no coder, but I can usually pick out a error if I'm really really looking for it. Probably a good way to develop some skills as well.
