    • This is a quote from an e-mail I got. Is this an easy job or a complicated process to get this working properly?
The target audience 1. is the 'end user': I want the end user to see on the
      > front page a logo / some text to explain the site / a sample of about 6
      > pieces of music which will play once a thumbnail size (maybe slightly
      > larger) picture is clicked. / A comprehensive search field with say: mood /
      > style / lead instrument. / tempo / composer / theme. Then a link to the
      > catalogue page - something like the 'premiumbeat.com' category page- On the
      > left they have the category and on the right the sample files to listen to,
      > an explanation, price and 'Add to cart', pretty much like your demo page but
      > with the category menu. I would also like to have the search again on this
      > page. I would like to have a point that I collect their email address. Can
      > that be taken from the checkout stage?

    • I have got the perfect companion for selling music online. However, he wants various extras like being able to search for genre. You can search for songs in the component, but not a genre. He also wants members to be able to upload their songs say people can buy them. Somebody mentioned community builder for this, however I can't find any extension that does this.

And he wants pictures on my home page that when clicked, opens some music. I think this is a little bit beyond me and seems like a lot of hard work that most companies would charge a lot of money for. He has already told me that he hasn't got a lot to spend.

you can have pictures that when you click that takes to an article wich contains this:
      joomlaworks.googlecode.com/files/plg_jw_allvideos-v3.1_j1.5.zip
to play the music! :P :arrowu:
