RocketTheme Designers and Developers Are Frauds?!

Dear Fellow Joomla Developers,
We've recently encountered an unprecedented attack on our business practice and would like some of your insight regarding the issue.
Like many of you, our business is making, marketing and managing Joomla websites. RocketTheme is our go-to for most of our work and are proud to support and be active within both the RT community and the Joomla Community.
We recently stumbled across an anonymous Kijiji posting calling us 'frauds' for using Joomla templates. The poster also states that people should be cautious of paying anything over $50 for our services - because they're 'templated' websites.

Have you ever had someone slander your business practice over your use of templated websites? If so, how do you handle such harsh online slandering while maintaining business ethics and high moral standing?
I have emailed this individual and invited him/her to have a chat with us. I will let y'all know if I receive a response.
Does this mean that all Joomla (or WordPress, or Drupal) Designers and Developers who use pre-existing themes as a foundation for their clients as a cost-effective solution are frauds?
I would love your insights on this...

This is an issue that affect us all.I will tell you a history that happens with a friend...
I have this friend that wanted to have a website,and this "fraudist developer" offered her a website for 500 pounds,saying that she could change the website the way she wanted(cms).Well....this developer installed word press in her account,pressed the button to insert the template and that's it!he considered the website ready!
So that's the point,if you use a template but customized it's a work,but if just install it...hmmm,it can be considered a fraud!
All the "real" developers of Joomla should get together and create some certificate,to distinguish our services from the fraudists!

There is no shame in taking a template that is coded well and starting from there. A template is a starting point. That being said, to just throw in content, slap on a logo, and call it your own work IS a fraud if you sell it as something you originally created.
I see alot of sites that look like RT and other templates outta the box. That's good and all but I wouldn't pay someone for a site DESIGN if its not actually a customized site design. While developing content and other things take time and skill, I also wouldn't call myself a "web designer" if I couldn't create a custom site from PSD and implement it into code or impliment an original design into a template.
I wouldn't worry about that guy. It was nice of you to offer him an explanation of your work. That is what you are billing for anyway.

If in doubt, fall back onto the licensing agreement you have with us. You are not allowed to distribute / resell our templates. So, you are not charging to gain access to our templates. So what are they paying for? your services, in the way of installation, setup, customisation etc..., not for the template itself.
With that mindset, you can quite happily ignore those complaints and rest in the belief that you are right in your usage, which is right.
Many things in the world are misinterpreted due to a lack of understanding. Their belief, which is understandable given lacking information, is that you are effectively just selling them a RocketTheme template which they could get it from us for a cheaper price, not regarding your services that are outlined above.
Now, if you are just dropping in the template and leaving... that is an entirely different story... but not really relevant to this discussion

- Honestly, I spend so much time customizing a site, that the fact that my sites run about $3000, I think, is a good deal. Yes, I use rockettheme templates...my clients aren't complaining.
