JomSocial vs Community Builder
I currently use both....
But I haven't really used JomSocial to it's full potential due to a lack of time lately....however looking a it is there a need to have both it and community builder. Both seem to replicate similar things like avatars and login.
Asking for your thoughts before deleting comunity builder incase both are useful for reasons I am unaware of.

- In my opinion, its one or the other, and for me community builder just doesn't do it. Jom Social seems to have a grasp on the new style of the meaning of "profile". Add the MyBlog and JomComment to it, not to mention all the add on plugins and user applications. In my eyes, well worth the money.

- I bought the pro JomSocial plus the MyBlog and JomComment components. Your right re the layout seems alot more modern

- In my opinion, there is no comparison between community builder and JS. I have had Jomsocial on my community website for a couple of months now and my members absolutely love it. I don't think I would bother putting it on any website that didn't have a community forum though. I use myblog integrated with Jomcomment on my personal website and integrates beautifully, really looks the part. I have read a lot of criticism regarding JomSocial, for me, I can't see where these people are coming from. But hey, there are some people that you just cannot please.
