Actually, that isn't where I work.. Only where I play - I work as an IT tech and consultant, my own business (Skilltech Computers) laboring in a School District, where I'm surrounded by servers, switches, hubs, and computer equipment.. not to mention Teachers, Administrators, and (gasp!) Students... I dabble in my own website and help others pick and choose how to build their own.. Programming (coding) left me in the dust when people forgot what Cobal, Fortrain, and BASIC were.. Anyone here remember what a "Bulletin Board System" was?.. How about a "Dial-up Modem" ? A 'Sysop' ? (System Operator)?... Imagine..
Three 'telephone' lines.. into a computer system, running what 'looks' like these web pages now... My visitor count went from 40 to 50 one day, to 3 or 4 overnight as the Broadband Internet hit this area and people discovered the World Wide Web.. - “Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.” ~ John Wayne

You see my new iMac 27-inch i7, two G5, a very nice MacCube (remember that one), one PC for IE debugging and as a printserver for my Epson Stylus Pro 4000 proof-printer and another Epson laser-printer ... (my MacBookPro is not in this picture) - Last Edit: 14 years 10 months ago by Henning.

How do you get any work done? Walking around a work area like that looking for my caffey cup would tire me right out, I'd need a nap! Very sweet looking workspace Henning.. Mine, as cramped and close as it might be is comfy, easy to heat, easier to cool (open a window) - Still, I'd flop over and quiver if I had a space like that, thank you for sharing.
I lived 8 years in Germany, (US Army), 4 in Mannheim, 4 in Nuremburg - "Ich spreche kein Deutsch" You lose it after 22 years. But, oh boy do I miss it!.. And you have one sweet loft, - “Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.” ~ John Wayne
