I wish there were something like a developer component you could install and "turn on" a developer mode for a site. It'd be great if you could mouse over an element on a site and a tooltip would tell you specifically where it's referenced in the CSS or php, maybe the width and height that the element takes up in the template, etc..etc.
I know Firebug does this somewhat..but it's still quite a bit of hunting around and it's a rather complicated little plugin.
