    • Sounds great, but for $28 I will wait to hear more feedback(or wait till there is a free version) before jumping in. On an unrelated note, I love the look of the Corephp site.

    • I was hoping one of you guys would let me know if it actually worked...

    • It is a clever system of preloader of template images. I just purchased this bot today and it doesnt work with IE. I am using Colormatic template of Rocket Theme. I really wanted it to work but it doesnt load my monoslideshow in the main page and it doesnt prevent menu flicker in the suckerfish menu of the template. I did the optimization mentioned in the PDF document. (There are no other images but template images in the template folder.) I wrote up a ticket, I am waiting for their answer. I will let you know. If there is anyone using this and want to help me configure it please take a look at www.izgep.org why it is not working. (The bot is unpublished at the moment) Note: With Firefox it seems to be working, and the pages are loding pretty fast even though I turned off the regular cache from the backend.

    • Something that always bothered me about the extensions site. You can have a different ID there. For me it lessens the credibility of the reviews as anyone can create an id and write a review. The same person can write 10 reviews under a different name. If you had to use the same ID as the forum ID, then we would know who was making good comments.

If Tolga could post the below as a review, I'd like to see if it ever gets posted.

    • I decided to try it out but it did absolutely nothing! Another useless bot!

Post an honest review in the extensions directory and see if it gets posted. From what I've seen, almost all negative reviews aren't posted, unless it competes with one of the core dev's commercial product, then it gets posted.

    • Mack, I am not from CorePHP as you're suspecting. And according to your theory if the owner would be misleading, there would have been many 5 star reviews by now. There is no sucj thing. Although I agree with you that the membership system should be different to prevent that. Anyways, the bot is working really good for me right now as a preloader. I have noticed a big change in speed. You can ask for help from CorePHP, they can have it hard coded it your template. Or try to optimize it first. Its written in the pdf file that comes with the bot. Flickering issue in the suckerfish is not solved due to one module I am using. If I unpublish it, the flicker issue is also lifted.

    • Hello everyone,

I am Steven from 'corePHP' the developer of the IE Double Page Load/HoverFlicker Fix & Speedloader and will attempt to answer all your concerning questions.

I would like to say thank you for your interest in the product it self. First off the product is not for everyone (almost) - I am sure you never hear that from developer. When I say that, it is due to some limitations that we have encountered since the release of the product. With these limitations we are in the process (due to popular demand and user feed back) restructuring the code and making it more compatible with alot of the products out on the market.
      • Users with over 5 different AJAX products will encounter issues. Documentation on how to get around this is noted in the supplied PDF. This requires manually inputting the bot code into the template.
      • Users with sIFR in there site will encounter issues - documentation on how to get around this is the same as AJAX - and this is noted in the documentation.
      • Some rocket theme templates have issues (i can not list them as I still don't know all of them) but with the next release we have resolved this issue.

The product is for everyone else - but if you have issues with the product itself you are more then welcome to contact us and we will assist you.

      • The product is for users who want to decrease the page load of there site.
      • The product is for users who want to eliminate the flickering issue of there menus (ie. Suckerfish - etc) (Please note some AJAX products will disallow our bot to fix this issue)
      • This product resolves the annoying issue of IE loading twice on every page. What do you mean by this? Well simple , IE has some issues with sites where when you go to the site, the page loads and then auto refreshes itself. This is usually due to large amount CSS in a style sheet or alot of stylesheets.

In conclusion this product will increase the speed of your site in both IE and Firefox - as well as all other major browsers such as Netscape and Safari and so forth that support javascript (the ones that are less used depending on who your audience is).

Please feel free to ask any further questions here or through our support are at helpdesk.corephp.com

Thanks for your time and hope I have answered all your questions.

      Kindest regards,
      --
