Backing Up Site

I run the computers in my house off one server (running server 2003) that stays on 24/7
My question is, how can I automate the backup of the mysql and site files from the website to a folder on the server, so that I don't have to think about it but have a backup

- I could tell you on linux how to do it, or even mac os x, but windows.. fraid not.

- isn't there something called 'daily backup'? it backs up only the files that have been changed from the previous day ... and you can automate it i think

Do you mean, from an online website to your server?
If you have an FTP server running on it, you could generate a backup from Joomla Cloner and auto-FTP it to your local server.
If you're talking just local files, and a local development environment, just do as Damo says and use Windows Backup to do daily incrementals. - Toolbox Digital | Dribbble | Forrst

Hmm I think I know what you mean...
Its a remote website hosted in america or somewhere, and my home server that runs the domain in my home
I could install FTP so the website could contact my server
What about the MYSQL?
