Upgraded to Joomla 1.0.12 AkoLegal stopped working, any help

  • Upgraded to Joomla 1.0.12 AkoLegal stopped working, any help

Posted 18 years 1 month ago
    • I am sure AkoLegal worked on Joomla 1.0.7 what I am not sure of is when it stopped working, I upgraded from 1.0.7 to 1.0.11 and than to 1.0.12, today I noticed 'Term of Use' and 'Privacy Policy' links in AkoLegal are not working, I have tried everything but can't figure why, any suggestions are welcome.

Direct link to AkoLegal on my site www.molorakfilms.com/web/index.php?optio...m_akolegal&Itemid=90

Even direct links to 'Term of Use' and 'Privacy Policy' are not working

On a test site installed Joomla 1.0.7 and AkoLegal it worked.
On a test site installed Joomla 1.0.12 and AkoLegal it didn't worked, changes in Joomla 1.0.12 prevents links in AkoLegal from opening.

    • I think akolegal was abandoned.....mine quit working a long time ago I seem to almost remember someone fixing it to work with 1.08 but I can't seem to find the link in my link collection from hell. I am about to go on a roadtrip and will be back in about 8 or 9 hours and will look some more for it.

In the meantime I found a link that may help: (not english site) der-den.de/im_www/artikel/sport,_fun_und...colegal_2.0_fix.html

    • Cool, glad to hear it!
I think the glitch occurs when the register globals gets turned off in one of those joomla updates about 6-8 months ago.
The big security update borked a lot of 3rd party mods & components..........the plus side being slightly more secure 3rd party stuff........
