took a little playing with to get to work with skype and dont actually know what i've done but it does now work. look a bit of a twat but it beats all the wires. - www.c3p0.se - sweden

- i noticed that and the receiver that comes with it is the exact same (even branded xbox 360)

No mention of use with Voice Recognition Software. Probably because the mic is not positioned nearer to the mouth for optimal quality.
