    • I've noticed Joomla can be slow at times loading and was wondering; are there any good optimization components to speed things up?

I'm currently working on a rather large site and the load time is around 10-15 seconds!

      I'm lost for solutions...

    • Tons of things you can look at.

      1. Are you on a shared server?
      2. Install YSlow for Firebug and look at the suggestions it gives. (Gzip etc)
      3. Make Sure all photos are optimized for the web.
      4. Never paste into an article from word.

      Good luck!

    • Usually hosting is responsible for 90% of the issues. Then it's graphics and page size for a big chunk of what's left, and last is anything that "optimizes" site speed. If you're on a relatively fast internet connection and have a good hosting set up, it's very hard to notice a difference with optimization items verses none.

Check any image sizes though and see if your site is pretty big.

    • Hello,

It seems that a lot of what may be slowing my affinity template website is all the CSS that is loading and images in the template that might not be necessary. Do you guys offer a paid service to look at the current site that is using the template and get rid of all the unnecessary code? Or some help. if you only use one style can you get rid of the other Style Sheets?

      Thanks
