Know of an extension that links author names to a profile?

I'm looking for a solution that would make each author's name linkable to their profile. Anyone know of an extension like this?
I checked into Community Builder and there is a CB-Author extension, but it has to run in Legacy mode. Not exactly what I'm looking for. I've thought about using ReReplacer and making their names one word joined with an underscore or something like that and replacing it with a link. Not sure what I'd link to yet since I'd like to have their profile info listed and the articles they've submitted available too.
Anyone ever run across anything like this?

- Yep, very familiar with that site. Just thought some experienced members might have a suggestion. I actually tested everything I could find on a demo site and gAuthor looks like it may do the job.
