two things i'm looking for if anyone has heard, please let me know
first, a component where you can list courses that you are running where visitors can book online?
second, a component that allows registered users to list business services and also where someone can come along and list what it is they are looking for (would need upload capability also)

- EventList lets you register for the "events" listed.

I don't think the current version supports payments. I would put the courses in Virtuemart if you want the ability to accept payments.
For those who will be paying offline, you can create a payment method for that, so their "purchase order" will be a "registration receipt". I actually did that for a school. Changed the word "Order" throughout to "Registration" and changed Shopping Cart to Registration Cart.
Also eliminated the site registration from Virtuemart because then it gets confusing!

I used Attend Events on
www.encompassed.co.uk
- added some customised PayPal stuff at the end of it so that customers need to pay a deposit to secure their place.
I also put in extra bits for paying via cheque and requesting an invoice (using perForms).
