The most important thing you should look for is the ground! {lol} insert chuckel here {/lol)
I assume because it is your first time you will be strapped to someone right? If so, that is the better way to do it. I remember the guys on the ground teaching us what to look for once the chute opened. They described all this shapes that chute could make that were bad, very bad. So, if by chance I had a chute issue I could resolve it. Well let me tell you, my chute could have been in the shape of a balloon animal I wouldn't have known the difference. I was so scared just climbing under the wing I was out of it.
All I know is, if I can make it, you are as good as gold.
PS Don't let the form they make you sign scare you!
