    • Dave you never cease to amaze me - What next "Rocket Theme the Musical"?

If I could design half as good as you can write - Andy would be asking me for lessons.

    • You're a great storyteller Dave! Suggestion: add some cartoons (pictures) to it.
When will the further adventures of ANDY TO THE RESCUE be published? Also on the first of every month? ;)

      On topic:
      Why RT?
      1. Great templates for a low and fair price.
      2. Great community!

    • Dave, Knowing you are a tallented writter, I was just about to PM you to ask if you did copyrighting for sites...

But after reading that , well m a y b e I just may go for that sales writter! :-\ Though I really think I would enjoy my site more if you wrote the content! :D ;D

Dave G ..a man who spends way too much time on the RT forum, and I'm sure glad you do...just wouldn't RT without ya mate.

    • James & Gino, (gotta get that 'o' correct!)
That's a good idea, especially the monthly thing - gamers may like it, but I might end up scaring other folks away! Who knows, I might come up with something episodic. I did promise at least one more installment of ANDY TO THE RESCUE in order to include all the other regulars that were missed. They're probably glad that they were missed!

Now that I think of it, a monthly episode timed just before the release of the monthly template. I'm open to scenarios or topics if you all want to PM me - we got to keep some element of surprise!

Cartoons? I can't draw too well, but I did see a grocery store commercial that used a lot of still images all composited together and animated - like in Flash, or something. It's really funny! It's an idea. Thanks for the kind words.

      David White,
I was thinking of a re-make of THE ROBE, it's not the religious epic, but it's about Andy in the Pro Lounge struttin' around in his Hugh Hefner robe, thinkin' up template ideas and conniving the next big Rocket Theme strategy - and all the free beer. I could have alternate endings if a person ponied up and sprung for a Pro Membership the could see them in the Pro Lunge, they would not only receive all the great templates they can eat, but get free beer and play mockity-muck with Andy struttin' around in his robe. ;)

Yes Justin, I have way too much time on my busy hands!

then im sure the backgrounds will be easy.

A storyboard may be a good idea for those who are good with graphic design, just 4 pictures and then you will not be worrying about your explosive Joomla! gland as your Rocket Theme Node would have imploded under all the excitement!

LOL.. you guys are too much! I really should think about getting Dave to write my promotional material :)

It sounds appealing... I did own and was the creative director of an ad agency in Atlanta for 13 years. I'd did a boat load of advertising and marketing copy for radio, TV and print. Except for a 3.5 year temporary medical challenge I would probably still be there, but life changes directions! All I'll say about that is that I'm thankful to be alive and able to crack funnies here on RT.

I think that if I wrote copy for RT sites, some of my fire might get lost. We tune out ads to a great degree because we refuse to be manipulated by marketing, but if you knew when you joined up with the RT gang that you'd have great camaraderie, find the answer to life's pressing template questions and laugh your butt off, well, that might have merit. If I did write RT copy, it would be funny, kind of like that RocketTheme Madness poster! That was a classic redux.

Really, I'd love to be behind the scenes working toward a global strategery of how RocketTheme could take over the world - or the universe!! Baawaaaahaaahaaa!! (rubbing hands together maniacally)

    • I for one HAIL our new writing genius overlord Dave Gee!.

Dave is to writing and comedy what Andy and Kevin are to Joomla! template creation. The best. Period.

Dave Gee!, my best pal that I have never met! Hooah!

[bowing in the direction of Washington DC]

PS: Dave, I ought to update my pic, that is an old pic from when I grew my hair out (for 10 years) so that I could donate it to the Cancer Society in memory of my mother-in-law whom suffered from Hodgkin's Disease and was taken to the path at the end of the clearing far too young. Fyi, after 10 years of no haircuts my hair was past my knees - and I am 6' 4" tall. When I donated the hair, the ladies at the desk were blown away. In case you are wondering, I simply always wore my hair in a ponytail and kept it tucked inside a baseball type hat and out of harms way. When I started growing my hair, I had a buzzcut. :o

Thanks for sharing that, Roland. That was a great gesture of you to give your hair for your mother-in-law. I hope she is with us today! So, how long is your hair now? Thanks for the kind words, man. It was all the free beer in the Pro Lounge! :D
