Hello Rocketeers,
I need a website to share and edit documents like Word, Excel, and PDFs. I need to achieve something that works a little bit similar to Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 but using Joomla. This is exactly what I want to accomplish:
1) Users will have to login to use the site
2) Users will have different access levels, only some users will be able to edit the documents
3) Only one person at a time can work on a document
4) Users need to be able to upload files from the front end
5) After uploading a document it would be nice to get a thumbnail (optional)
6) Users need to be able to download the files
7) Commenting is mandotory for each document that you work with (for example: Date and what I used the file for (edit, print, etc.))
Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I have been looking at things like: Docman, Community Builder, Jomsocial, Remository, and RSFiles!
