SOLVED Site Loading Time Concerns - CSS Compression ?
Posted 15 years 2 months ago
I have a client who does not like the loading time on his site. I went to an optimization site and they mentioned that I could compress the css files. Can someone help me with this? I don't know how to do that or what to use to do it with.
If you want to look at the site, it's
www.arguellesautosales.com
. I didn't feel like it was particularly slow, but this is a very persnickety customer.

But you can remove the JS that "disables" right-clicks as it is useless and only adds bloat to the page. When i see such stuff i get a "90's flashback" LOL

Try some image compression tools. You can find a few online. They are called "Image Optimizers". I suggest you do this on any/all of them.
Apache Version 2.2.14 (Unix) | PHP Version 5.2.12 | MySQL Version 5.1.43-log | Architecture x86_64 | OS Linux | Joomla Version 1.5.20 | pHpBB v3.0.7-PL1 | Firefox v3.6.8 | Internet Explorer 8 |

Thanks for all the great advice, guys. I ended up simply reducing the image size of the large image on the front page and he loves it now. Who'd have thunk? I will keep all these in mind for future reference, however. As far the large images elsewhere on the site - it's all I can do to get them not to upload every picture taken at 12 mega pixels!
