Last month friend of mine finally jumped into the Google Adsense band wagon today when he checked he had earned 11.14 dollars that is approximately 6 dollars a month if it continues at this rate his hosting expense is covered, however when he tried to cash the earnings he was asked for tax information, he doesn’t want to receive any tax form or etc. how can he go around this.
You can't get it anyway until you earn more than $100.
They don't have to send a tax form and you don't have to claim it unless the amount exceeds $599. Careful there, if your total income from multiple 1099's exceed $600 when added together from the same source (ie. one website) you have to claim it.
Regardless, they will send you a 1099 for any amount if you live in the US.
I'm not a lawyer, or a tax expert, but there are only a few ways around this:
1. Don't be a US citizen/resident.
2. If you are a non-profit entity, then that entity will have a taxpayer ID number (for giving to Google) but will not be liable for the taxes, AFAIK.
3. If you have a corporation, and that corporation is losing money/breaking even, then it will have a tax liability of zip, at least for a while (I think a corporation can lose money for tax purposes for 3 years or so).
4. Talk to a tax professional. Charitable donations can reduce your tax liability, so, for instance, if you have $1000 a year coming in from Google ads, and you donate a site valued at $1000 to a 501c each year. . . Or something like that. It depends on how you are structured.
A basic rule of thumb in America. If money moves from one place to another, actually from anyplace to anywhere, there will be a tax. If there isn't a tax, there will be a form for you to fill out explaining why you THINK there shouldn't be a tax. You will then get another form letter explaining that you thought wrong.
