Module Manager returns error when trying to edit a module

Posted 18 years 1 month ago
    • I installed the acajoom (mass email) module but afterwards, the Module Manager returns the following html page when trying to edit a module

"The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. "

I have uninstalled acajoom but still the same problem.

It was suggested to remove the row from the jos_module table containing the acajoom entry but this does not exist.

    • jos_module will only exist, if, when you created your joomla case, you assigned the prefix of jos.

Just scan the database for a suffix of "module"

Also, do you have a link for the module, i will test it on my demo server to see if i have any issues!

    • Thanks for your reply but this is not the problem.

I get access to the Module Manager - no problem

When I try to edit ANY module I get the message on a blank page I explained before - acajoom does not exist on my site anymore in the JOS_MODULE table, in the directory structure, so I can only assume that a configuration file or something has been modified.

      Cheers
