    • Ok, I know there are a ton of people here that use the web developer toolbar on firefox. I seem to have a problem when I go to edit css. It's an amazing feature, allowing you to edit css on the fly to find the right values that you need to change in the actual file by the guess and check approach without fear of screwing up your files:) My problem is, when I hit edit css on the toolbar, it seems that any of the css that comes from the style.css files disappears! Alot of times I am trying to fix the positioning on something, like say the body of the page against the background of the page, but when I hit edit css, the whole background image just disappears. I tried using the open file and opening the style.css file the goes with that template variant I am using, but that didn't fix it. Does anyone know of a way to get it to keep the values and images from your style css file inthe view of the page when you go to edit the css from the web developer toolbar? I've been forced to use firebug instead lately because of this problem, but I have other problems of my own with that extension!LOL When I edit the css using firebug, all of the styling from both of the css files stays on the view of the page for me, and that's nice, but it doesn't seem that I can add any code to the files. All I can do is change values f the code that is already there. Sometimes that is enough, if I am just trying to find the right amount of padding or the right values in the margins. However, sometimes i need to completely add a line for margins in there, or maybe add a float: right in there or something, and I can't seem to do that in firebug. Does anyone have any solutions that they have found to these problems? :)

      Thanks,
      David Henderson
