This section is to list all the legacy extensions, former standalone free or club extensions that are no longer supported, but still available for download. Support is in regards to forum support as well as updates. A legacy extension is typically superseded, in terms of functionality, by a more recent extension, such as RokSprocket.

RokGallery

RokGallery is a ground-up revolutionary gallery extension, developed to be hugely flexible, versatile and user friendly. The system itself is built on a custom tag-based architecture with the ability to have multiple tag-based galleries.

RokGallery uses design and concepts that have been traditionally reserved for platform-native applications. It has a non-destructive slice editor, meaning the original uploaded image is never modified, only new slices are created, each to a custom zoom and/or crop.

RokStories

RokStories has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Features Layout. RokStories itself is a content showcase extension with the focus being on the image.

It is a highly configurable module with multiple layout options to switch how the relationship between content and image is presented, in location, style and prominence.

RokNewsPager

RokNewsPager has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Lists Layout. The module is a content focused extension that presents text in a list format.

The module can display its content data in two different list formats. Accordion is a dynamic expand/collapse layout type, and a static option is just vertical blocks.

RokNewsFlash

RokNewsFlash has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Headlines layout. It is a snippet or news ticker styled content extension, displaying single lined content.

The content length is limited by the preview option in the module's setting, that allows you to restrict character length. A caption is also included and configurable.

RokTabs

RokTabs has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Tabs layout. It displays content within tabs, perfect for maximising content display whilst conserving page space.

The module has several features, including icons for the tab titles, inline module positions and also configurable tab row locations, such as above or below the main content.

RokMicroNews

RokMicroNews has been replaced, in part, by the RokSprocket module with its Tabs layout. The drag and drop feature for vertically stacked blocks is not available with RokSprocket.

Similarly, the expand/collapse and section headers are not in RokSprocket. RokMicroNews is, in effect, a side tabbed content module, with an emphasis on stackability.

RokIntroScroller

RokIntroScroller has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Strips layout. It displays content, both text and/or images, in a single lined horizontal grid structure.

The module allows you to specificy articles from a particular category, set a character limit for each article, amongst other features such as navigation arrow opacity.

RokContentRotator

RokContentRotator has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Tabs layout. It displays content within a tab based structure on the left or right of the content.

The module allows you to specific articles from a particular category, set a character limit for each article, amongst other features such as whether the tab titles are linked.

RokSlideShow

RokSlideShow has been replaced by the RokGallery module, and in part, the RokSprocket module with its Features layout. The module itself is an image rotator.

The slideshow itself is very flexible and easily customizable and offers a great alternative to flash-based solutions. Support for titles and captions is also included.

RokDownloads

RokDownloads is a file download manager. It provides management of files and folders for you to present downloads to your site visitors. It is a native Joomla! 1.5 component

It works with both Windows and Unix, and will recognize files and folders uploaded via FTP or other method. It allows for a simple interface to manage your files and folders.

RokGZipper

RokGZipper has been replaced by the RokBooster plugin. It compresses and consolidates CSS and Javascript files, reducing HTTP requests and overall file size.

Site performance is paramount, and RokGZipper suits this end. It creates separate files per different pages to further improve speed, by only compressing used CSS or Javascript.

RokBridge

RokBridge is a non-invasive, bi-directional bridge for Joomla and the forum platform phpBB. This special bridge extension does not require any "hacks" in either the Joomla or phpBB code base.

RokBridge provides a unified Joomla component based install & setup to bring the two platforms together. The application consolidates registration, users, and login sessions.

RokFeatureTable

RokFeatureTable has been replaced by the RokSprocket - Tables module.

RokFeatureTable offers a stylistic and user friendly solution for displaying tabular data. It is perfect for price or product comparisons, or in effect, any type of data display that suits a matrix format.

RokStock

RokStock is a module that displays a graphic depiction of stocks for the configured indexes, via the Google Finance API. The comparative data is shown via colored line graphs.

The module is also user editable. You can add any number of new indexes, or remove existing ones, as well as being able to drag and reorder them. Each index is colored.

RokWeather

RokWeather can display a wide array of weather data for various locations world wide, inclusive of temperature, weather information, forecasts, humidity and wind speed.

The default location can be overriden via user interaction, as well as the temperature scale. Both Celsius and Fahrenheit are supported. Wind speeds also supports different units.

RokQuickCart

RokQuickCart displays products as block items in a grid structure. Each block can contain an image, title, description, options and price, as well as the Add to Cart button.

All items are added dynamically to the basket at the bottom, and can be removed or have their quantity adjusted inline. The checkout button is also here to consolidate elements.

RokMiniEvents

RokMiniEvents displays event information from several Events providers, in a concise, flexible and responsive manner. Events are displayed across a configurable timeline.

The display data is configurable in the module settings, such as the date, title and description, as well as the navigation type and how events are selected for display.

RokComments

RokComments provides four different comment systems to choose from. Whether it be Facebook or Disqus, let the voice of your users be heard using this fantastic plugin.

All of our comment providers also provide login/signup options right from your comment displays. Your audience can begin commenting on your content in minutes.
