    • A few quick questions:

I am under the assumption that this is for Joomla 1.5 only: Is this correct?
Looking at the topic header, this would indeed be the case.

Has anyone successfully integrated a joomla header into phpbb3 overall_header.html and got it to match nicely? - Struggling with this, there is just not enough time to dedicate, plus being noobish on this sort of stuff.

      Cheers lads.

I was shocked after having not looked at it in a few years. I even saw the latest release deals with embedded variables
should make it easier to integrate I hope.

heh, how did those get in there :)

    • thanks for the update, really looking forward to the integration part :) .

But what about the joomla application part? Could you detail what that means? I'm currently guessing it's a layer application between both joomla and phpbb. But I have no idea what that entails, i.e. where does it "hook" into phpbb and joomla and which effort an installation would take.

    • Rudolf great question, but you know how it felt on Christmas morning when you got that one gift you totally wanted but never expected to get!!!
I am not asking to many questions at this point. Dont want to spoil the surprise
then Andy and goes and stokes my imagination with his last post.

Truly I think people are going to be very happy given the rok solid reputation of the folks working on this
oh wait did I say rok I meant Rock
      giggling away now

    • "rok solid" IS a great marketing slogan given the name of this project and the quality they've put out.

I have read a bit about the API of joomla now, and now I'm even more excited!
