- Hello;
  I am new here. I hop I am posting this in the proper forum, so forgive me if I am not.
  I am setting up my first Joomla page. Upload went just fine, now I am trying to log into the admin. page to start the building process and it will not recognize my username and password. I am using the same username and password I used in the installation process, plus is the same as my club memberhsip info. Can someone explain why I am having this error?
  
  Also, let me just say everyone in here is incredible, and your talents and far superior to my own, so forgive me if I ask some questions that are more "for idiots". I am a 30+ year graphic designer, but no knowledge of programming web. I learn fast so please bear with me.

- I cannot really explain why, but may I suggest checking this tutorial www.teachmejoomla.net/joomla-mambo-tutor...trator-password.html on how to retrieve your joomla password.
  Do you have some affinity with the use of phpmyadmin?

- I just had the same problem logging into joomla admin. It took me forever then after putting my name and pw in i hit the tab for lang to english instead of default and it went in.
