hi, don't get nervous and read my first post from march 2011 : i met the same problem with osolcaptcha in one of your template and i had to find an other solution because there was too much bug with it. But i never found the solution here, perhaps the template was too old.
What I mean is clear that the problems with the captcha that did not work properly with my template (template for the site and template for VM): a large number of other concerns have never been debugged, including in 2011 when I reported it (I could make a list of problems encountered and never resolved) then I found other solutions myself which captcha not working, the coding template that does not properly consider the rewriting SEF urls, the drop-down menu that bug into the template, compression of CSS and JS files impossible, the incompatibility between different versions of browsers, etc, etc, etc.). All these bugs have remained unanswered because it was told that the template was to old.
I used Mynxx since V1.5 and joomla V 1.1.4 VM, and since 2010, most of the bugs encountered in the template has never been supported: the list is long and I had to fend for myself only to debug and modify the code, weeks and days of work .... for someone who is not a developer.
In short, what I am saying is that asking to update version is an argument to avoid having to solve a lot of problems with a templates sold since months.
What I criticize is to advise users to upgrade their site and template in order to address the problem. As if Apple and Microsoft refused to provide updates to their OS on the pretext that they are too old! This argument is found in all the vendors template or commercial modules, plugins or components, and this is not normal because dice when a site is professionaly functionning live, it is sometimes impossible to upgrade in a day, it can take days or weeks and generates new problems for the website owner...
That was all.
