i found a post concerning the captcha code i will try it this week, it seems to work with OSOLCaptcha : "adding the following php block in the form where you want this captcha to appear. hi, i dont know where to post this information : i found bugs in the template because for virtuemart. When a virtuemart child catergory is unpublished without any product in, the home-page "logout" & "cart" buttons, & the scroller "left" & "right" arrows don't work anymore. If you publish again this category, everything works fine again?? strange... perhaps it can be usefull to know this.

Has there been any further news on the release of the Mynxx update?

Looks like the latest was released in May, so should I just keep checking back and the newest version should have the bugfix you're talking about? Also, could you suggest a file comparison tool? Mynxx RocketLauncher Uploaded: 31.03.09 Modified:14.10.10 File Size:12 MB Version:1.5.7 I cannot tell you when the latest fixes will be released, (I am a moderator, not part of the dev team) but I know that the present version has only one bug, and it is when enabling the mootools 1.2.4 plugin. In any case, I would not wait for that fix, since using mootools 1.2.4 with virtuemart may give you other problems. Virtuemart itself is not supporting mootools 1.2.4, unless you have well ddeveloped javascript skills and wish to rewrite parts of the javascript contained in virtuemart itself. But, that is just my opinion, maybe it is smart to just test and see for yourself, use a test site and see what issues you run into. Then you can get some ideas of what the problems are that you run into. You may have most issues in virtuemart backend. I hope that explains it a bit. Furthermore, on the file comparison tool, I use beyond compare. Whenever a fix for mynxx is released and you want to make sure your theme and the elements of the theme are up to date, you just compare the files. You can run an automatic comparison of all the files, then you can see the files that are different and where needed update these.

"file comparison tool", that's new to me. Do you have one you suggest? So I understand, correctly... Once the bug is fixed in the Mynxx template, I can update it, and also update the mootools? Well, it is out, but there is still a small bug in one of the files I believe :oops: The vm_theme mynxx works great with mootools 1.2 when that bug is fixed. Using mootools 1.2 on the mynxx template will require you to update all modules and the mynxx joomla template itself. The easiest way to go about that would be using a file comparison tool and do all updates manually (I did it like that for my own custom vm theme).

Ok, I'll hold onto my socks for a bit.. . Any thoughts on when this will be out? I'm nervous about updates, I've done some hacking, (generally applying someone else's hack), to the site and I'd hate to loose my changes.. Granted, I can back up and test.. but... .

Not too fast, Mynxx new release supports mootools 1.2, but there is still a little bug in the vm theme which will be fixed in the next release, then you can easily implement it. That is probably what I will be doing too. I was waiting for a mynxx moo 1.2 release. :cheesy:
