I can't figure this out

    • All you need to do is upload the .zip file, then extract this on the server, you don't need to upload the individual files/folders, it's far quicker doing it directly on the server.

In terms of installation, this is what we would do:

      1. Create a new empty database and delete the old one
      2. Upload the .zip file to your home directory
      3. Extract the contents of the .zip directly on the server
      4. Install as normal, ensure your DB settings are correct, and use MySQL not MySQLi (as I think GoDaddy doesn't work if you use MySQLi)
      5. Job done! (with any luck)

With your other query about the widget, best to get it up and running, install it and then we can take a look at the code when it's live.

    • Ok now within godaddy there's two different database's: My SQL and SQL Server database... Should I set up both with both having the same options name and password or just do the My SQL? I know nothing about any of this stuff.

    • I am having the same problem with my rocketlauncher and godaddy! I am so frustrated! I have started from scratch several times. The result right now is, when I put in my url it takes me to the joomla install, however, it is on the 7th step and tells me to remove the installation folder. But I haven't been able to go through the steps of joomla installation. When I do remove the folder, it then goes blank with no connection to my godaddy server. I have been researching for days and godaddy is no help at all. Can someone please give me some suggestions?
