    • Hello!

Thanks! To answer your first question; yes, this is hosted on my own machine and I have to apologize for my lack of experience. I'm still learning a lot and you guys are just wonderful for helping me out as much as you already have.
I have corrected the version comparison error that caused the Extensions Manager to think that the database version was incorrect, however this was only a visual issue and the database was in fact in the correct version.

The 301 redirect of the non-www to www domain is still a problem. The redirect seems to be working, but when I check the header I still get an 200 OK status instead of an 301 permanent redirect.

And, sadly, the error page still won't show when an invalid URL suffix is used. I have only changed some CSS code in the main template files. Could this at all affect the displaying of the template error page?

    • You issue is almost certainly one of server configuration. Both David and I are agreed on this but I'm afraid I am out of ideas as to what it might be. Is there a reason why you are using your own server rather than a hosting company?

      Regards, Mark.

I'll try again to check all relevant files for clues as to what might be wrong.

The reason why I'm starting out on my self-hosted server is because of economical and practical reasons. This makes it cheaper for me than to have a VPS and I still get to have the latest PHP version etc. which is required for some components to work. When using shared hosting, updating server software creates problems for some.

    • Ok, well sorry but we're out of ideas other than to see it is a server environmental issue rather than an RT product issue. Perhaps you might need to rethink if using your own server is really "economic" given the time you are having to invest in getting it to work.

Sorry we don't have any more ideas.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thank you for the advice, Mark.
I will try to resolve this server related issue for now, but I agree with you that I eventually will have to move over to a VPS.

Thank you for the great support, guys!
