This just helped me on a client's site that suddenly came up with a blank page on the front end and administrator end. Wow....thank you so much. Site is back now. Apparently their hosting company moved things around without telling anyone. AND when my client asked the hosting company, they said it wasn't anything to do with them. Nice.

glad to know this helped you too, kathy.
would just like to add some more info to avoid issues when moving a gantry site.
all cache and compression tools need to be switched off, otherwise you may end up with a blank page after moving the site.
- joomla cache under > site > global configuration
- gantry cache in the > template parameters > advanced
- gantry gzipper in the > template parameters > advanced
- rokgzipper in the > plugin parameters
