Logo Editing, settings for menu and rokstories

Posted 14 years 6 months ago
    • I do have a subscription for paid templates but this template is so damn nice I want to use it except without a rocketlauncher or sample data sql so I can work out module settings myself, I am having a hard time replicating this template to look like the demo.

I can't get the font size and weight in the top menu
Also the rockstories to work with images inside the background image as per the demo
      http://www.junkmail.com.au/

thanks in advance for any help

this is a beautiful template and this template with 5 other preset styles would make an awesome template release...HINT HINT!

    • Hello,

Well first off thank you for the compliments! With grunge we went out of our way to try something a bit different! :)

as for the top menu this walk through should help: demo.rockettheme.com/free/grunge/tutorials/menu-setup

as for the rokstories this one is a tad tricky but i have posted a screen shot of the settings.

    • The pics for rokstories helped me set up the module and have sorted that problem and appears to be working.

I did follow the menu tutorial but the font size and weight are still wrong. menu fix HERE

      any thoughts?

*plus the logo in the sources pack isn't blank :(

      thanks in advance

    • I don;t have fireworks. especially when it costs US$300
Sean I appreciate all the work you are doing in the forum but I thought membership included

      # Ability to remove branding and user-facing copyright
      # Access to RocketTheme labs templates
      # Access to RocketTheme video tutorials
      # Access to Adobe Fireworks PNG sources

Free template users really missout on what makes rockettheme the best template club, and that isn't the templates, it's the service, other than you I am not seeing the usual input from the usual moderators. As a paid subscriber sorry Sean but the above response isn't the one I was looking for rather just a blank logo posted that I can add my site name to.

It's not a transparent logo that can simply have the text deleted, and a logo which has a textured background has to be released blank because everyone has to add a name here. That to me would be a simply courtesy.

As for users reading this and don't have a membership so you can't interact, I still believe rocketheme is the best club because of the backup they provide in their forums. if you have a site the template club paid subscription is the best money you will spend on the site.

If someone can email me a blank logo to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. it would be appreciated. (RECIEVED BLANK LOGO..thanks Christian) email me if you are chasing one

    • thanks sean,
I have one but didn't post it here because I know there are rules against sharing rockettheme themes, not sure if it applied to logos in the free templates but didn't want to do something against the rules

      thanks
