Gantry error for joomla 1.5 & 1.7

- I had the same issue with my sites subdomain. On the main domain the file ownership on mydomain/administrator/cache/_gantry-3.1.18 was still apache from the joomla! install, and on the subdomain the file ownership was the same as my ftp. By changing the chmod from 755 to 747 on mydomain/mysubdomain/administrator/cache/_gantry-3.1.18 the error message went away. This is not an optimal solution for me and I'd prefer a better solution. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

There's nothing we can do about ownership issues so you have to contact your host. They can solve it

Hello
We got the same error with joomla 1.5 installed on plesk windows,
with plesk windows we don't have chmod, we change the windows right but still have the same error,
can you help us?

No, sorry - I can only give advice for Unix-based hosting. Your host should be able to help with ownership and permission issues.
