    • none of the logo settings seem to work in gantry editor.. changing it to 'gantry' instead of custom doesnt work... deleting the logo doesn't change anything.. it just always uses the default logo whatever I do.. :( -- I just tried deleting the over-ride and recreating.. but changing header style to dark works.. just seems to be logo stuff that won't change? I'm clearing caches, purging expired, clearing browser caches.. nothing helps

    • Hi there,

It is not the gantry framework that is wrong but the Gantry template itself.

This is updated by taking the download from www.gantry-framework.org/download - use the second option - Gantry Default Template for Joomla 2.5 + 3.0

Install as per any other template/extension.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • excellent.. thanks for that. But how am I supposed to know when an updated for gatry template is available? I just need to keep checking the site? Seems a shame when joomla & gantry update themselves from the admin area. Anyway, thanks for your help, it's now working as expected.

A little query -- is it possible to have different coloured styling in the main menu? So, for example, I have 4 drop down menu items.. could each drop down have a different colour text? ie, drop down 1, red font on active link, red font on hover, drop down 2, blue font on active link blue font on hover?

I guess I can do it if I go in a hard code styling for each <li> number, but when I update these changes would be lost? Or should I put them in gantry-custom, with !important declarations, so they always over ride the default styling? Not something that's urgent, just wondering if there's an easier way to do it with gantry tools etc.

    • Hi there,

We do not have the same update operation for templates as clients would screw sites up if changes had been made

Using the li.itemXXX would work for colour changes so long as you include the cascaded code to make it specific to the dropdown.

Changes can be made in gantry-custom without being lost when updating.

If this resolves your problem then please edit your first post in this thread by adding SOLVED at the start of the title and then select the green tick icon. This lets the moderators know that it can be moved to the solved section.

      Thanks for your cooperation :)
