You are absolutely the greatest! I disabled the "System - Mootools Upgrade" plugin, and Gantry came alive!!! Since you pin-pointed the issue, I've read up on RocketTheme's aggressive effort to ensure MooTools 1.2 Compatibility across it's product line, so I feel confident I'll be able to enable the Mootools Upgrade again at a later date. But for right now, I'm enjoying working with the new gantry framework all because of you.

hi kevin,
glad to know this helped. anyways, the gantry 3.0.7 should work fine with mootools 1.2, there must be another plugin present on your site which causes the problem.
if you could try to find which one it is, maybe that info would be helpful for other members.

Hi Kat,
Did as you suggested. I re-enabled the 1.2 mootools plugin. Then I searched my site for every occurrence of mootools, and found the entries set forth below. To the right of each entry is the action I took to try to find the offending application.

Strange...
Mine was the opposite of this - fine in FF, frozen in Chrome.
I enabled the mootools 1.2 plugin and now have full back end functionality back in chrome.
using zephyr template.

- before to accuse the server , I d rather downgrade to a previous version of the gantry framework.. because I went back from xx.14 to xx.07 (a version I still had on my documents) and it fixed it

I've started with this problem now, after upgrading two totally separate installations of panacea to Gantry V 3.1.4.
I have switched off mootools upgrade but it had no affect.
I downgraded one installation to Gantry V 3.1.2 but the problem persists.
I'll PM you my admin details

you need to update your cache cleaner extension, the latest version contains a fix for incompatibility with gantry 3.1.
