Template-width-changer for 12-column-layout of gantry

    • May I ask u a stpd question: what I supose to see with a 16-column-layout? :oops:
      In a Gantry layout options at mainbody positions I have now 9 | 3.
      Maybe with a 16-column-layout it must be 13 | 3 ? No?

    • Where is the replacement styledeclaration.php in this post.

      What was actually modified in styledeclaration.php (because mine is already heavily modified)?

    • This is not an replacement. Its a new feature mywidth.php.
      It leaves styledeclaration.php untouched ...
      You find it in the first post.

    • Now I understand.... Thanks.

      The only thing I’m no sre about is that your declaration:
      <param name="experiment" type="gspacer" default="" description="" label=" " glabel="EXPERIMENTAL" />
                  <param name="dyngrid" default="60" type="text" class="text-short" label="mywidth"/>

      Do not have the end </param> at the end. Is that allright?

      FORGET ABOUT THAT POST YOUR DECLARATION HAVE NO ENDING PARAMETERS — That’s how it suppose to be.

      WORK PERFECT — THANKS

      For the people using 16 columns you can put your “default” at 45 (by column) to equal the 60 for 12 columns. That will give you the default 720 in both case.
      <param name="experiment" type="gspacer" default="" description="" label=" " glabel="EXPERIMENTAL" />
      <param name="dyngrid" default="45" type="text" class="text-short" label="mywidth"/>

      On my template I have to put the .navigation-overlay to “repeat” to be able to cover the new space created in the menu bar. cool

      --SNIPPED--

      Yes this is a self ending (or closing) html tag.
      here is a list of valid tags.
      www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_byfunc.asp
      In this list you will see several that are self ending.
      for example <img /> which can be used like so <img src="images/stories/whateverfile.jpg" />
      or just a plain line break <br />
