Hi Henning,
many thanks for the detailed guide on changing the width of the template from 940 (+20px) to 994(+20px) by having the template width value at 64 in the experimental tab, alls well so far.
The issue i'm facing is that i have 3 module positions on maintop (maintop-a, maintop-b & maintop-f) i need to show
google ads of 200px width on maintop-b
and a google ad of 160px width on maintop-f
but the maintop-a width is 573px in webdeveloper i'm getting a value as:
null
div.rt-container .rt-grid-7 (line 49)
{
width: 568px;
this is causing the maintop-b & f postions to go out of the template width, is there anyway i can reduce the maintop-a width?
please help, the image attached will give you a clear picture.

Hi there,
If you are running columns at 64px on a 12 column system with a 7 | 3 | 2 layout then trying to fit a Google ad of 160px into a 128px column will give some problems. Similar with a 200px ad in a 192px column.
There may also be a problem with calculation because if you have a 7 column grid at 64px per column then that width should be 448px
Without a link to your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

Try adding the following code to the bottom of template.css...
#rt-maintop .rt-grid-2 {margin-left:0;}
