Gantry not allowing save on new rotator pics

Thank you Kat. Can I please ask, if I downgrade gantry will I lose any existing gantry configurations such as menu showcase images, text colours, links colours etc?
Btw thanks for the tutorial it was VERY informative.

if you have not edited any of the gantry core files MANUALLY then you will not lose any of those settings. the configuration inside the template settings will also stay intact.

if you check the changelog there was a bug at some point with the rotator and a newer gantry version, so panacea got updated as well.

Hi Kat,
Thanks so much for your help! Unfortunately, updated the template (Now on 1.5.7 and gantry 3.1.17) and still the same problem 
Have cleared cache, purged cache, just to make sure I wasn't seeing old symptoms, but still the problem persists! It's so bizarre....
It works again if I downgrade Gantry, so the problem seems to be totally Gantry related.
Do you have any other magical ideas up your sleeve possibly?

Hi Kat,
The weirdest thing - after logging today to test before sending you the details, it now all seems resolved (even though I'd cleared out the admin cache and purged it!). ?!
The only thing I can think of is it must have been the browser cache clear that allowed me to see the new template upgrade impact?
So in a nutshell, the solution for me (kindly provided by Kat) was:
- Upgrade Gantry
- Upgrade template (I did a manual, file by file upgrade replacing only the changed files)
- Clear admin cache
- Purge admin cache
- Clear Browser cache
If that still doesn't work, wait a day, and then log in again, just to be sure!!
