Joomla 2.5.6
Gantry 3.2.20
Php 5.2.8
Appache 2.2.11
Done several reinstalls, and also tested other gantry templates - all templates have the same problem.
Any help right now would be greatly appreciated.

php 5.2.8 might be causing your troubles. you should try 5.2.17 or even 5.3.x

5.2.8 was released 08 December 2008.
That's really ancient and unsecure :cheesy:
It's so old that you're missing out on some features that might be needed. PHP 5.3.x and newer is recommended. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
A template is only as good as the content that goes into it

I am having the same issue with the Cerulean templage. Clicking on the blue save button when making any template changes, or choosing a preset for the template, does nothing.
Actually, a thin, rounded, dark pop-up window appears with the word, "Gantry" in it. It hangs out for a few seconds, and then disappears. No changes saved. Home page looks the same.
Also, clicking the Close button when trying to leave the Cerulean template editing mode does nothing.

hi, i need help
I want build a projekt with osmosis (newest) use package osmosis-1.0-rocketlauncher_j32.zip.
After installing on localhost (xampp) and on a build webspace i can't save any template modifications.
I get the the ajax-success-message ("Gantry Template settings have been successfully saved."), but if i leave the template-configuration-dialog and come back into it, are the modifications lost.
Joomla 3.3.2. or 3.3.3
PHP 5.4.29 (webspace), 5.5.3 (xampp-local)
pur osmosis package without any additional extension!

I've tried a few things.
1.
If I under "Layouts" tab change positions settings and klick "save as copy" after renaming, then some(!) settings for the new template are adopted.
2.
"Top positions" and other:- Changing of "positions" default (1=>12) never accept.
- "Force Position" on/off-Settings will accept,
- "Position Count" change will accept.
If i set checkbox for overridden "off", this will accept, but if i re-set checkbox for overridden again "on" after this will not accept.
