SOLVED Gantry templates will not SAVE template changes

Now i check the nativ gantry template (without osmosis, alerion, etc.). The same issue.

Hi mediaDESIGN_SK,
First of all please ensure that you raise your posts in the correct forum. Your initial enquiry was regarding the osmosis template so it should have been in that forum.
Are you saying that the settings are not appearing on the front end of the website, or are you saying that each time you go back to the settings they have resorted back to the defaults in the admin?
If the changes are not being seen on the front end of the website please supply a URL and superuser access which can be done in the secure tab when replying to a post.
If the layouts in admin are always showing the default but the website is being displayed correctly then this is normal behaviour. The default in admin is to show the layout for the homepage as there are so many options throughout the website it would be impractical to show all of the options. For example you may select a module position and the default would be three modules published yet you have saved four modules published. When you go back to that setting it will just show three modules published again, however if you click on the four you will see your original settings that you saved.

okay, I read the Topic fast and understand that my approach was exactly the opposite.
I will try that now and hopefully be happy.

I am having problem with editing the gantry styles in the template. It will open however it will not let me click on anything once opened. I am wanting to activate google analytics. The domain is
www.riverruns.co.nz
. I thought it may be a server issue but when I went back to check on my local development version the problem existed there as well I just hadn't realised as I hadn't needed to access it. I have cleared the cache. using Joomla 3.3.3 and Gantry 4.1.24.
