[Closed] Problem with Gantry 5 Install

I installed Joomla 3.4.3
Installed Gantry 5 pkg
Installed Hydrogen
I can see template options on edit
When I preview site I see this message
"Failed to load 'g5_hydrogen' template: Please install Gantry 5 Framework!"
Can someone guide me as to what I may do to fix this issue?? -

- Try downloading a fresh copy of Gantry 5 v5.1.2 and reinstalling it then reinstall a fresh copy of the Hydrogen template. There is also some info here http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/basics/installation

I am also experiencing a problem between the Ganrty 5 installation and template installation. The Ganty 5 installation proceeds okay, but when I try to install Hydrogen template, I am getting the error message to install Gantry 5 first. Also getting
Warning: Extension Install: Custom install routine failure.
When I go to Extensions - Manage and search on gantry 5, all but the Gantry 5 (site) extensions are set to Protected Extension and thus cannot enable, as directed to do so in the Gantry 5 installation documentation.
I have installed successfully on other sites so not sure why I am having problems here. This is just a test site before I attempt to install on my live site, so not crucial but eventually I would like to update my site.

Yes it seems only the first item can have its state set by the user. Could you please confirm that your server meets ALL these requirements http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/basics/system-requirements

Could you please confirm that your server meets ALL these requirements http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/basics/system-requirements

After several attempts and an unistall, reinstall of Gantry 5 andmaking sure cache was purged, I got it working.
I already have a second site on the same server running Gantry 5 so the requirements are met.

I have spent the better part of the morning trying to get Gantry v5x bundle installed and find it way to complicated, especially compared to v4.x. I get that once it is setup and installed correctly, after going through a lot of settings, that maybe in the long run it will allow for a more robust environment, but really, this is way too complicated for a Joomla environment.
Maybe when I have a few days, maybe weeks, to play around with this new environment, I'll try again. But I am going back to Gantry 4 with its simplistic interface and function. You're making the transition from 4 to 5 way too complicated. -
